BBC iPlayer - Listing for category bbc_one

Archives are available, check archive navigation bar in the menu while logged in.

I might setup a page to convert the original xml bbc files to srt, and do the same for itv/4oD... formats if it could be useful. Provide examples if you'd like that.

Due to the BBC constantly modifying their stuff at their end, I've lost the will to fix every single time.
So listing won't be updated (new subs) after 2017-12-26, end of my subcription to the DNS proxy. Site cost was around 30€ a year: 15€ for the DNS proxy (allowing me to get the subs while not in the UK) and 15€ for hosting fees, thanks to a great friend hosting for cheap, all this for a site that I don't even use.

As stated below, it will be broken again on the 1st of may 2018 anyway, and while fixing something again this year, I saw that the BBC will soon require to have a valid UK TV licence to log in and get data, hence it is just a matter of time till everything brakes.
It was fun, I learned some python and web stuff doing it. Still not a web designer though :). I will provide a link to all the archives once it is not working anymore (around 3GB of subs). Only to connected users.

Since 2017-04-26 around 10am, the BBC rdf programmes I use were discontinued:
"From April 18, 2017, the BBC is no longer able to offer XML, RDF and iCalendar (.ics) views of programme metadata from this location".

On 2017-05-01:
Now using json programmes instead of rdf, but it will break next year... as the page also says: "The remaining JSON feeds will remain in operation until May 1, 2018."

Information about the BBC iPlayer RSS feeds pages

Thanks to the availability of subtitles for the programmes that the BBC provide on iPlayer, this web tool provide a simple way to retrieve them in a standard srt format, by listing their RSS feed of active programmes on iPlayer.

How about something not on the current feeds?

If you want some subtitles for programmes not available on BBC iPlayer anymore (hence not listed on the channel feeds),
you can now just use the search page provided.
The search provide links to get the current subtitles (in the rss feeds) and able to see the results for historical ones.
You will need to be logged in in order to get the subs for historical ones.
For the moment, the search use the programme name only, we will be adding the search by programme id later.

The project started in April 2009, that's when we started caching the subtitles url for the programmes (vanilla xml files at the BBC).
We should be able to get subs for anything aired since the start of the project.
